Valencia have agreed a €35m deal to sign Goncalo Guedes on a permanent basis from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
The Portuguese winger has been in sensational form since moving to the Mestalla in a season-long loan deal this summer, having only joined the Parisians from Benfica in January.
El Mundo cite a report in L’Equipe which states that such is PSG’s desperation to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, they are willing to part with the player for what they believe to be is below his market value.
The report suggests the move would also be seen as the French giants ‘giving a favour’ to Valencia owner Peter Lim and super agent Jorge Mendes, for whom Guedes is a client.
The 21-year-old has previously expressed his openness to joining Los Che on a permanent basis.
