Serie A leaders Inter are the latest Italian club to express an interest in out-of-favour Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu, according to reports.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan in Serie A with Milan after not being involved in Everton’s first-team action, before returning to the Camp Nou in summer in a €12m deal.
A report in Tuttosport claims the Nerazzurri will turn to the Spaniard should they fail in their attempts to land Bologna forward Simone Verdi in January.
Earlier this week, Rai Sport claimed Napoli would swoop in for a loan deal for Deulofeu, with Barca said to be open to doing business.
The Spain international has started only five La Liga games this season for the Blaugrana, scoring once, and can play on either side of an attacking three.
