Valencia have reportedly opened talks to sign Barcelona full-back Aleix Vidal in January.
According to Superdeporte, Valencia have already made contact with Vidal and could follow up with an offer that tempts Barca into a sale.
The 25-year-old joined the Blaugrana from Sevilla in 2015 but could not play for the former until the following January due to a registration ban.
He has since made just 37 appearances for the Catalans after falling behind Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo in their right-back pecking order.
Los Che, meanwhile, have only former Barca man Martin Montoya as a specialist player in the position, with Joao Cancelo still needing to be replaced.
