Real Madrid have reportedly made ‘secret’ contact with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, via Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez.
Diario Gol claims that Zidane has been given permission by Perez to sign Hazard, with the Coach having had a long-standing admiration of the Belgium international.
Any move was put on the back-burner due to the form of Marco Asensio and Isco but with Madrid off-the-pace in La Liga and Ronaldo struggling for goals domestically, and his position no longer as secure as it was, the President has changed his stance.
It’s alleged Zidane contacted Hazard in the past week and comes after reports from England that Hazard has delayed signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge worth £300,000 per week.
The report also notes that Hazard has in the past said it would be a ‘dream’ to play under Zizou.
