N’Zonzi set for Sevilla exit – reports

A number of European clubs have been put on alert with Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi set to quit the club in January, according to reports in Spain.

The French midfielder reportedly stormed out of the stadium after being substituted off at half time during the Champions League draw with Liverpool a fortnight ago.

The 28-year-old has not featured in the matchday squads against either Villarreal or Deportivo La Coruna and has reportedly been banished from training with the first-team squad.

A report in Estadio Deportivo now suggests Los Rojiblancos are willing to listen to bids for the holding midfielder in the January transfer window, with Juventus and Everton among the interested clubs.

N’Zonzi – formerly of Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City – was reportedly frustrated not to leave the club this summer as nobody matched his €40m release clause.
