Tebas: La Liga to report PSG to EU

La Liga president Javier Tebas has confirmed the league will report Paris Saint-Germain to the European Union if UEFA do not take a harder stance.

Tebas has confirmed he will report the Parisian club to the Directorate General for Competition for distorting the transfer market due to UEFA’s lack of action.

“We have our lawsuits prepared and ready,” Tebas said when asked if the report would be sent to the European Union, as reported by EFE.

“La Liga will wait until the end of the calendar year to give UEFA time to make a decision on whether or not to intervene first.

“Even before Neymar joined PSG, I told him (PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi) that we were going to critique state intervention in football clubs.

“We will take this to a European level if UEFA is not strong on the issue, despite opening a disciplinary file against PSG they have not against Manchester City – this is not enough.”
