Isco is expected to be available for Real Madrid in Saturday’s derby clash with Atletico at the Wanda Metropolitano after returning to training.
The playmaker picked up a knock during Spain’s victory over Costa Rica on Saturday, causing him to sit out all training before Wednesday’s return.
Matteo Kovacic, Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas are all expected to miss the clash with injury, although Dani Carvajal is thought to be available for a return after two months out.
“Zidane oversaw three players return for the session,” read a Madrid statement.
“Isco and Luka Modric, who worked individually on Tuesday, joined the group.
“Matteo Kovacic also trained for the first time with his teammates since his injury.
“Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Keylor Navas continue with their respective recovery processes. The Costa Rican goalkeeper was out on the field training alone.”
