Wass open to Sevilla move

Celta Vigo midfielder Daniel Wass could join Sevilla in a cut-price deal after his contract renewal talks stalled, according to reports in Spain.

The Danish midfielder’s contract at the Galician club expires in June 2019 and Estadio Deportivo reports he has ‘no intention’ of renewing his deal.

The report states Sevilla are keeping tabs on the 28-year-old, who joined Celta from French club Evian in 2015, making 110 appearances for the club, while stating he also wanted to retire at Brondby.

Celta could cash in on the set-piece expert next summer, who is said to be open to a move to Los Rojiblancos.
