Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi has left the door open for a possible return to the English Premier League in the future.
The 28-year-old, who made his France international debut against Wales on Friday, has excelled for Los Rojiblancos since joining the club in 2015 after spells with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City.
“Who knows what will happen in the future,” N’Zonzi told reporters, as quoted by Estadio Deportivo.
“I am not going to talk about contracts.
“The Premier League? I love it, I really like English football and that is where I began to really improve as a player.
“I had a great time in England but I don’t know what is going to happen in the future.
“My international debut? It is a good time for it,I feel good playing in Spain but there are a lot of players competing for places in the squad.
“There are a lot of quality players so I couldn’t complain not to be in the national team because in my position there are a lot of good players and competition.”
