Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere remains on the agenda for Real Betis, according to reports from the English Press.
AS cites the Mirror, by way of the Sun, as claiming Betis are leading the chase for Wilshere ahead of the January transfer window, with the England international out-of-favour under Arsene Wenger.
Wilshere is out of contract next summer but has previously indicated his desire to remain with the Gunners and win back his place following an injury-hit few years and a season-long loan at Bournemouth, rejecting a summer move to West Ham.
AS suggests that while Betis have a number of attacking midfielders, Wilshere’s primary position, they are lacking in defensive midfield and could see Wilshere as an option in that role.
