Zinedine Zidane believes playing at Wembley will be an ‘incredible experience’ for his Real Madrid players when they take on Tottenham.
It will be the first time ever that Madrid have played at the stadium as a club while many of their players have never played at England’s national stadium.
“We approach every match with the same mentality to win regardless of location,” Zidane told his pre-match press conference.
“But it is true that Wembley is a beautiful stadium and will host a great spectacle between two teams who will go all out for the win.
“Wembley is important and symbolic inside the world of football but what is more important for me is that we have two great teams coming up against each other on the pitch.
“I played in the old stadium and it was an incredible experience, and I’m sure this one will be for my players too, unfortunately I will never play at the new Wembley!”
