Aleix Vidal’s future at Barcelona is growing increasingly uncertain and former club Sevilla are hopeful of re-signing the full-back, according to reports in Spain.
The 28-year-old initially joined the Blaugrana from the Andalucian club in the summer of 2015 for a €28m which included add-ons.
However, Diario Sport now report that the Catalan giants are willing to take a massive financial hit and cut their losses, and would accept a bid in the region of €10m.
The former Almeria wideman’s importance at the Camp Nou was limited under Luis Enrique – who frequently chose midfielder Sergi Roberto at right-back ahead of him – while the club signed Nelson Semedo from Benfica this summer.
Vidal has started only three league games this season and the report suggests the club would be willing to sell as early as January should Los Rojiblancos make a move, with the player keen to return.
