Jose Arnaiz admits he will ‘always remember’ his first team debut for Barcelona after scoring against Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey.
The 22-year-old joined the side from Real Valladolid in the summer window for a €3.4m deal and has scored four goals in eight starts in La Liga 123.
“My debut with the first team has been a dream from an early age,” Arnaiz told BeIn Sports after the match.
“I am really happy to have been given a chance in such an amazing team and I will always remember this night – to make your first team debut and win is an amazing feeling!
“They started the match strongly and their shape was very good but eventually they grew tired and we could exploit it.”
The striker, who signed a three-year deal at the Camp Nou, also netted 12 times for the Blanquivioletas in the second tier last season.
