Navas to return against Spurs

Keylor Navas is set to return for Real Madrid against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Costa Rica international goalkeeper missed Saturday’s 2-1 win at Levante after sustaining the injury on international duty but will now come back in with Kiko Casilla set to drop to the bench.

However, the game is set to come too early for Dani Carvajal, Mateo Kovacic and Gareth Bale, who will miss the chance to take on his former club.

“All ready for the Champions League match against Tottenham,” read a Real Madrid statement on Monday.

“Real Madrid completed the last training session before welcoming the English team for match day three game of the Group Stage.

“Zidane had all the squad available apart from Luca, who worked inside and Kovacic, Carvajal and Bale, who continue with their recovery processes," the club confirmed in its official website.

“With a large media presence, Los Blancos began by combining rondos with short sprints. Under-19s goalkeeper Moha trained with the first team in a session that featured ball work and ended with finishing on goal.”
