Cristiano Ronaldo is the ‘best player’ and will quickly resume his goalscoring record in La Liga, according to Getafe Coach Jose Bordalas.
The 53-year-old’s side take on Real Madrid on Saturday afternoon and believes the Portuguese star – who has scored five club goals this season but none in the league – will soon rediscover top form.
“Everyone knows Cristiano can very quickly resolve that situation,” Bordalas told Cadena Ser.
“He is a great player, the best player and it only takes him a moment to be decisive – he has shown this ability over a long period of time, and that’s why he is the best.
“For any Coach he is a reference point – look at how hard he has worked, look at how much he has won and look at how ambitious he still is.
“Madrid have a complete squad: they defend very well, have lots of guile and creativity in midfield and lots of punch in attack.
“There is never a ‘good moment’ to play this team and for me they are favourites for every game they play in.”
