Getafe can make home advantage count in their clash with Real Madrid on Saturday, according to striker Angel Rodriguez.
The newly-promoted side lie 12th in the standings after a tough opening run of fixtures – Zinedine Zidane’s side will be the sixth side they face who competed in Europe last season.
After giving Barcelona the toughest match of their league campaign to date, the summer arrival from Zaragoza believes they can go one better in the all-Madrid affair.
“We have home advantage and can upset them,” Angel told Marca.
“They are a great side and if they are on form it will take a mammoth effort to stop them, but we will make sure they have to work hard and run more if they are to take any points.
“We have had a tough schedule so far facing a number of teams in Europe already, but this is good for us as they are the best in the league and we have competed.
“At home, we know our fans will be with us until the death and that support spurs us on, we are grateful for that and it improves our results.”
