Granada have completed the signing of experienced central defender Chico Flores on a free transfer, the club have confirmed.
The 30-year-old was a free agent after leaving Qatari side Al-Duhail earlier this year and arrives at El Grana in a bid to help their promotion bid to the top flight.
Having started his career at boyhood club Cadiz, the former Spain Under-21 international also enjoyed stints at Almeria, Genoa, Real Mallorca and Swansea City before leaving Europe.
Jose Luis Oltra’s side have rebuilt their squad over summer with only three players remaining at the club from last season’s relegation, which ended their five-year stint in the top flight.
