Former Real Madrid striker and Brazil international Ronaldo believes Zinedine Zidane’s side will bounce back from their poor run of form.
The 41-year-old netted 104 times in 177 appearances across four-and-a-half seasons at the Bernabeu, and joked he would be willing to return to fitness to come out of retirement for the club.
“Last season they had a similar run and ultimately won La Liga and the Champions League,” Ronaldo told Marca.
“There is absolutely no doubt about the team's potential and ability, their good results will return and we must remember it’s very early in the season.
“There are lots of good strikers in the squad…but if there is a problem, I'll get fit myself!”
