Costa: No bitterness towards Conte

Diego Costa has explained he is ‘not upset’ and has ‘no bitterness’ towards Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte following his move to Atletico Madrid.

The Chelsea Coach was alleged to have texted the Spain international striker at the start of summer to tell him to find a new club, with the striker later saying he felt he was being ‘treated like a criminal’.

“I'm not upset with anybody and I hold no bitterness towards anyone, everything is fine,” Costa is quoted by Diario AS of telling reporters as he made his way through Sao Paulo airport to board a Madrid-bound flight.

Costa is returning to Los Rojiblancos after leaving for Stamford Bridge three years ago in a deal worth a reported €65m, of which €10m will be add-ons.
