Marco Asensio will miss Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with APOEL Nicosia after sustaining an infection shaving his legs.
Spanish newspaper ABC report the 21-year-old infected a pore on his leg whilst shaving with the affect-effect of an enlarged spot ruling him out of the match on Wednesday.
“Asensio? He has a spot… which stopped him pulling up his socks so he isn’t in the squad,” Zidane told his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
The forward has enjoyed a flying start to the season, netting four goals in six appearances and establishing himself as one of the rising stars of the European game.
