Costa set for Fenerbahce loan – reports

Diego Costa could be handed an exit route from Chelsea with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, claim multiple reports.

The 28-year-old returned to London earlier this week to rejoin his teammates at Stamford Bridge in training but the striker is reportedly intent on an exit.

The Turkish transfer window remains open until 8 September and according to various media outlets in the country, Fener are set to complete a loan deal for the striker.

Turkish-football.com cites a report in Milliyet claiming the Atletico Madrid-target is set to join the Istanbul giants on a one-year loan and will be paid €5m in wages.

Elsewhere, Hurriyet also state a loan agreement with the English champions is imminent but do not specify a length of time, while NtvSpor say the move will be six months.

Costa is reportedly intent on a return to Atletico, whom he left in 2014, although Diego Simeone’s side cannot register new players until January 2018.
