Real Betis have announced the signing of attacker Joel Campbell from Arsenal on a season-long loan.
A statement on Betis' official website confirms Campbell has returned on a dry loan, with no option to buy.
However, he is not yet ready to play for the Andalusians as he continues to recover from a knee injury, sustained while representing Costa Rica at the Gold Cup earlier in the summer.
The 25-year-old scored two goals in 33 appearances for Betis during the 2012-13 campaign and also spent time on loan at the likes of Lorient, Olympiakos, Villarreal and Sporting CP.
