Barcelona full-back Douglas is set to join Portuguese champions Benfica before the transfer window closes, according to reports in Spain.
Marca state the Brazilian defender will join the Lisbon giants after choosing a move to the Portuguese giants over the option of Turkish club Bursaspor.
The 27-year-old joined Barca from Sao Paulo in 2014 but has started only one La Liga outing and spent last season on loan at Sporting Gijon.
His departure follows on from that of another Brazilian defender from the Camp Nou – Marlon Santos has joined French club Nice on a two-year long loan agreement.
