Espanyol are expected to finalise a loan with option to buy deal for Lyon midfielder Sergi Darder, according to reports.
Foot Mercato say a move is on the verge of completion and report the player missed his side’s training this morning to complete the transfer.
The 23-year-old joined Les Gones two years ago from Malaga and has made 73 appearances in all competitions including three of the club’s league games this season.
Lyon recently completed the €14m signing of Celta Vigo midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop earlier this week but are said to be keen to further restructure their squad.
