Barcelona defender Marlon Santos is set to join Nice only three months after joining the Catalan club in a permanent deal.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the 21-year-old will move to the Ligue 1 club on a two-year deal although Barca may retain the option of recalling him after the first season.
The Brazilian centre-half started each of the Blaugrana’s last two La Liga fixtures last season against Las Palmas and Eibar but looks set to be on the fringes again this season.
Negotiations with Nice accelerated during the two club’s talks over a move for midfielder Jean Michael Seri – a move which did not come to fruition.
Marlon moved to the Camp Nou on an initial one-year loan deal last summer before making his move permanent this summer.
A move to the French club looks likely to be a loan deal but no further details were given.
