Preview: Levante-Depor

Levante marked their return to La Liga with a win last week, and they will be hoping to make it two out of two on Saturday against Deportivo La Coruna.

Levante boss Juan Muniz on keeping his team grounded: “The past is no longer useful because football isn’t lived in the past, and what we have to do now is try to pick up more points. If it’s three more, even better.

“The points we have aren’t going to disappear, but we have to go for more of them.”

Depor boss Pepe Mel on his club’s attempts to bring back Lucas Perez: “I won’t talk about Lucas Perez anymore because it’s not worth it. I’m only worried about the players I have at my disposal.

“Lucas won’t be in Valencia with Deportivo La Coruna, so why should I waste my energy on it?”
