Paris Saint-Germain are now in pole position to sign Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri in order ‘to hurt Barcelona’, according to the players agent.
Franklin Mala, the Ivory Coast international’s representative, said officials at the Parc des Princes now want to sign his client after the Catalan giants pulled out of negotiations earlier this week.
“Barcelona and Nice were negotiating and an agreement looked more than possible,” Mala told RAC1.
“On Tuesday, they (the clubs) were in France to discuss technical aspects but they already knew the player’s abilities and skillset.
“PSG came to us three days ago and there are now applying pressure on Nice to sign him, it's crazy. They want to do it to hurt Barcelona.”
