Jonathan Viera believes he will be playing with Las Palmas this season “unless a madman comes in and pays big.”
The 27-year-old had expressed earlier this summer he was unsettled at Los Amarillos with Swansea City reportedly offering €12m for the forward.
However Diario AS now report the Gran Canaria native is now set to sign a new deal with the Spanish side after meetings with club president Miguel Angel Ramirez, with a verbal agreement in place.
“Both parties are happy with this situation,” Viera is quoted as saying.
Viera has netted 17 La Liga goals in 66 starts since the club’s promotion in 2015.
