Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo is set to sign for Inter after passing a medical at the San Siro on Monday afternoon.
The 23-year-old – who had been linked to Juventus, Tottenham and Chelsea – is joining the Nerazzurri on a reported one-year loan deal with a €25m option to buy at the end of the season.
“I’m happy…Forza Inter,” Cancelo told reporters after he left the stadium in Milan.
Signed from Benfica in 2015 for €15m, Cancelo made 74 La Liga appearances for Los Che and netted three international goals in four appearances.
Geoffrey Kondogbia has moved the opposite way in a similar deal, while Jeison Murillo also made the switch to Los Che from Inter.
