Borussia Dortmund midfielder Gonzalo Castro has accused teammate Ousmane Dembele of ‘damaging the team’ after not showing up for training.
The Barcelona-target did not show up for a training session with the Bundesliga club earlier this week as speculation intensifies over a possible move to the Camp Nou.
“He was always there, he played an outstanding season then suddenly he doesn't show up for training,” Castro told Bild.
"We were shocked as it was something that was new to us – I've never experienced anything like this.
“Should he return he would very clearly be told that you can't act like that and that his behaviour is damaging us, the team.
“We don't know who is behind his actions or who leads him; what I know from my own experience is that I was not able to make every decision on my own when I was 20.
“But it's also clear that there are contracts and the club stands above everything.”
