Reports in Spain suggest Barcelona have been contacted by the agent of Julian Draxler regarding a possible summer transfer.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the German playmaker’s agent Roger Wittmann has contacted the Catalan club to state his client is unhappy with life in Paris.
Any further transfers between Paris Saint-Germain and the Blaugrana appear unlikely following Neymar’s move to the Parc des Princes and Barca’s long pursuit of Marco Verratti.
In addition, the 23-year-old only moved to the Ligue 1 club earlier this year from Wolfsburg and such a swift exit appears unlikely, even if the club are looking to offload more players to balance their books.
Draxler hasn’t featured for PSG so far this season, as he’s being rested after featuring for Germany in the Confederations Cup, where he won the player of the tournament award.
