Newcastle United have completed the signing of forward Joselu, who spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, from Stoke City in a €6m (£5m) deal.
The former Celta Vigo striker netted six goals in 24 appearances for Depor last season but his loan deal was not renewed this summer due to financial reasons at the Galicians.
Joselu joined Stoke from German club Hannover but scored only four league goals in ten starts as he struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League.
The move coincides with the arrival of Jese Rodriguez – who will sign a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain – at the Potters.
