There have been advancements in negotiations between Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Ousmane Dembele, say reports in Spain.
According to Diario Sport, the two clubs have agreed on an upfront payment of €100m although add-ons are still to be negotiated with the Bundesliga side asking for an additional €30m.
The Blaugrana are keen to strengthen following Neymar’s world record move to Paris Saint-Germain for €222m and not only are Dortmund keen to push up the price of their French forward, but also ensure that all aspects of them are ‘attainable’.
It is thought the further €30m would be based on goals scored, appearances and trophies won during the 20-year-old’s theoretical move to the Camp Nou.
The report concludes the deal is ‘moving closer’ and the Catalan giants have been encouraged with developments up to this point.
