Stoke City forward Joselu, who spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, is joining Newcastle United in a €6m (£5m) deal, say reports.
Sky Sports and The Telegraph both report a deal has been struck between the clubs and personal terms have been agreed for the 27-year-old.
The former Celta Vigo striker netted six goals in 24 appearances for Depor last season but his loan deal was not renewed this summer due to financial reasons at the Galicians.
Joselu joined Stoke from German club Hannover but scored only four league goals in ten starts as he struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League.
The move will coincide with the arrival of Jese Rodriguez – who will sign a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain – at the Potters.
