Stoke City are set to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez on a season-long loan deal, say reports.
Sky Sports reports the Premier League club have beaten off competition from Fiorentina and Las Palmas to land the 24-year-old.
The Spaniard joined PSG in a €25m deal from Real Madrid last summer but did not settle in the French capital and completed a loan move to hometown club Las Palmas in January.
His return to Los Amarillos was met with mixed success – three goals in 16 appearances at the Gran Canaria side ran out of steam in the second half of the season.
Reports over the summer had linked Las Palmas with another loan deal while Italian media reported Fiorentina’s interest, but he has chosen Stoke and is set to undergo a medical on Monday morning.
