Soldado agrees Fenerbahce move?

Villarreal striker Roberto Soldado has agreed a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, according to reports in Spain.

Diario AS cites various reports in Turkey that the Istanbul club have struck a deal for the 32-year-old, with some claiming it’s in the region of €8m.

Turkish-football.com also report a deal has been agreed between the club’s for the former Real Madrid, Valencia, Getafe and Spurs striker who’s contract at El Madrigal expires next summer.

Besiktas and Trabzonspor also reportedly made inquiries about Soldado’s availability earlier this summer, but the former’s deal for Alvaro Negredo ended their interest.

Soldado hit nine La Liga goals in 38 appearances since returning to Spain from White Hart Lane in 2015, missing six months of last season following surgery on his right knee.
