Krychowiak wants ‘Spain or Italy’

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak looks certain to leave Ligue 1 this summer and would prefer ‘to play in Spain or Italy’, say Nantes.

The Poland international moved to PSG from Sevilla for €34m – making the same move as Coach Unai Emery – but has failed to settle in Paris.

Various reports suggest the 27-year-old will leave the Parisians and is available for around €20m with Valencia one of the clubs most strongly linked.

“I wanted to sign Krychowiak, speaking to PSG and the player,” Nantes President Waldemar Kita told Sport.pl.

“He prefers to play in Spain or Italy. It’s a shame! I consider him a great professional, he has been at PSG for almost a year, but does not play regularly.

“Grzegorz has a certain level in terms of prestige and sport. PSG had told me it was going to be difficult, anyway.”
