Goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli will not be leaving Real Sociedad this summer despite prolonged interest from Napoli, his agent has confirmed.
The 25-year-old Argentine shot-stopper had been linked with a move to the Serie A giants to replace long-standing goalkeeper Pepe Reina but that now appears to have been ruled out by his agent Facundo Fraga.
“Napoli are no longer an option for Geronimo Rulli,” Fraga told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Rulli’s happy at Real Sociedad and he won’t move in this transfer window.”
Rulli played every minute for La Real in their La Liga campaign last year, helping them to a Europa League position this season and has a €40m release clause in his contract.
