Fenerbahce have moved ahead of Deportivo La Coruna in the race to sign Arsenal striker Lucas Perez, according to reports.
On Thursday, TurkishFootball claim the Istanbul-based club have agreed personal terms with the Spain international although they have not yet come to an agreement with the North London side regarding the nature of a deal.
Depor reportedly have lodged a €10m bid for Lucas – whom they sold for €20m a year ago – which reportedly falls short of the Gunners valuation.
"We are in talks with Fenerbahce but Arsene Wenger does not want a loan move," Lovelle told TurkishFootball.
"Wenger wants €15m for Lucas. He still has another three-years on his contract so Arsenal hold all the cards.
"Fenerbahce, two Spanish teams and a Bundesliga side have made an offer for Lucas.
"Fenerbahce are the most serious and we have been in talks for two months."
