El Mundo Deportivo verifies a report in fellow Catalan media outlet RAC1 that the Brazilian informed the Barca squad of his decision upon his return from a promotional tour of Asia on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old has a €222m release clause at the Camp Nou and has already reportedly agreed personal terms at the Parc des Princes ahead of a move which will more than double the world record transfer fee.
