Former Spain winger Jesus Navas has given an update on his proposed return to Sevilla. “We have to wait…”
It was reported on Friday that Sevilla were disappointed at the lack of progress in their talks to bring back Navas, and the 31-year-old was coy when pressed on the claim.
“We have to wait,” Marca quotes him as saying outside the offices of Sanchez Pizjuan.
Navas is a free agent after leaving Manchester City earlier in the summer and had met executives of his formative club on Friday, accompanied by his agent and father.
He made 391 appearances for Sevilla between 2003 and 2013, winning two UEFA Cups and as many Copa del Rey.
