Valencia are weighing up a move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez as they continue to restructure their squad this summer, say reports in Spain.
According to Plaza Deportiva, new Coach at the Mestalla Marcelino Garcia Toral has identified the fleet-footed midfielder as a transfer target, having managed him during a loan stint with Villarreal two seasons ago.
The 23-year-old made only 12 La Liga starts for the Blaugrana last season after returning to the club from the Yellow Submarine with speculation his desire is to obtain more regular football.
Marcelino is reportedly aware that the midfielder’s situation is also dependant on the futures of Neymar and Arda Turan at the Camp Nou, with potential exits and arrivals drastically changing his situation.
However, Los Che are confident the former Sevilla midfielder would immediately strengthen their first-team and he should be a prime target this summer.
