Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta has confirmed he and his teammates regularly discuss Barcelona star Neymar joining the club.
The Brazilian-born Italian international is one of a number of a strong Brazil contingent at the club, who the former Santos forward has reportedly told of his intention of joining the Parisians.
“Of course we speak about it,” Motta is quoted by ESPN as telling journalists in response to whether he and his teammates had discussed Neymar’s arrival.
“He is a great player. What team in the world would not want Neymar?
“Everyone and every club would like to have him in their team. Barca do not want to lose him and that is no surprise.
“He can make a difference. If he comes, he will be welcomed with open arms. I hope that things will finish well for PSG.
“To play alongside a player of his calibre is rare and they are difficult to find. So, why not?"
