Paris Saint-Germain right-back Dani Alves has hit out at claims he is a protagonist in trying to convince Neymar to leave Barcelona.
The experienced Brazilian moved to the Parc des Princes this summer a year after leaving the Camp Nou with reports in Spain claiming he was angling for the 25-year-old to join him in Paris.
Alves responded to a post from Spanish media outlet Onda Cero which claimed he and Lionel Messi were both attempting to convince Neymar upon where his future should be.
Mentira, no tengo que convencer a nadie de nada… cuando hablo con el, hablo de todo menos de fútbol. "Soy feliz si el lo es" https://t.co/jdSdz6bxXg

“Lies,” responded the former Barca full-back.
“I am not trying to convince anybody of anything. When I speak with him, we talk about everything but football. If he is happy, I am happy.”
