New Sevilla forward Nolito is happy to have left Manchester’s rainy weather behind and insisted he ‘needed a change’ after his stint at Man City.
The 30-year-old forward spent one unhappy season at the Etihad stadium where despite scoring three times in his first four appearances, started only one league game in 2017 for Pep Guardiola’s side.
“There are a lot of differences, in Manchester it was raining last week,” joked Nolito when asked about living in England compared to Spain.
“The philosophy, the climate and the people are all different.
“I needed a change and felt that the change to come here is perfect, I still can’t believe I’m at this club.
“I’m very happy to have signed for Sevilla and to be in this wonderful city.”
