Casemiro believes his international teammate Neymar would be welcome to join him at Real Madrid and revealed his admiration of him.
The 25-year-old Neymar is at the centre of a transfer storm with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly ready to trigger his €222m release clause at the Camp Nou.
“It is up to Neymar himself to decide on his own future,” Casemiro is quoted as saying by Globoesporte.
“He knows what he should do. Why could he not play here with us at Real Madrid? He would be welcome here.
“I haven't spoken with Neymar, but I wish him the best; he is a great player, I have a lot of admiration for him.
“He knows what he is doing; behind the scenes they are all very capable, his father is a great person, who knows what he is doing.
“If he does leave Barcelona, I wish him all the luck in the world. If he stays, I also wish him all the best in the world.”
