Deportivo La Coruna have reportedly lodged a €10m offer with Arsenal for striker Lucas Perez, who left the Riazor for North London less than a year ago.
The IB Times has verified reports in La Voz De Galicia that the striker has told Arsenal's transfer negotiator Dick Law of his desire to leave which has prompted Depor into making a solid offer.
The 28-year-old joined the Gunners in August 2016 in a €20m bid and the significant profit on this deal has given Pepe Mel’s side the incentive to complete the deal despite resources stretched at the club.
Marca and Diario AS have reported Fenerbahce have also registered an interest in the Spain international but are yet to make an offer to the FA Cup winners.
Perez netted only once in eleven league outings for Arsenal in his sole season in North London where he struggled to dislodge the established attackers at the club, who have since signed Alexandre Lacazette.
