Real Sociedad have received an offer of €26m from Italian giants Napoli for goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, according to reports.
Argentine-based El Dia and El Mundo Deportivo both claim the Serie A club have lodged an offer for the Argentinean, while Diario AS claim the offer is closer to €22m.
Mundo Deportivo believe La Real would only be entitled to 70% of the player’s transfer fee due to a complex ownership agreement with Manchester City, who had previously signed Rulli outright from Deportivo Maldonado.
El Dia do not report on City receiving any fee percentage although claim the goalkeeper’s first club, Estudiantes, would earn five percent from any deal.
AS say the Basque club are confident he will reject any overtures and seek to stay at the Anoeta, where he is valued highly and has a €40m buyout clause.
