Deportivo La Coruna are preparing a sensational ten-year contract offer for Arsenal forward Lucas Pérez in a bid to return him to the Riazor, say reports in Spain.
Diario AS cites a report in DXT Campeon, the offer would see the 28-year-old continue on in a non-playing capacity at the Galician club whenever he retires.
The striker is reportedly keen to leave North London this summer and wants a return to La Liga – he featured only eleven times in the Premier League last season, netting just once.
Depor are confident a bid in the region of €10-12m would be sufficient for a deal and while this is considered significant for their budget, it would see a remarkable profit following his €20m sale to the Gunners last summer.
However, AS and Marca also state that Pepe Mel’s side face fierce competition from Turkish giants Fenerbahce for the out-of-favour striker, who could offer a more lucrative financial package.
