Former Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc has admitted he is excited by reports linking Neymar to the Parisian club.
The 51-year-old believes the 25-year-old’s signing could transform the club into a genuine European giant with the capability of winning the Champions League.
“PSG want to become a European giant; it is a club with incredible economic potential,” Blanc is quoted as saying by ESPN.
“With a player of Neymar's calibre, PSG could become one of Europe's great clubs in the future.
“Could they win the Champions League with him? Yes.”
Various reports have linked the Ligue 1 club to triggering the former Santos forward’s €222m release clause at the Camp Nou this summer.
